Jessica Ruehrwein, director of Lutheran Community Services, Northwest was recently contacted by a friend of a documented couple from Honduras living in Boise. The friend has been subsidizing their living expenses but is asking for help. The couple were relocated to Boise by the International Rescue Committee. Lutheran Community Services is currently seeking out opportunities and preparing a plan that will lead to meaningful employment so they can quickly become self sufficient. At this time they have immediate needs that we can provide as we are able. A tub will be set up in the narthex for this purpose.
